- Zohar HaKadosh:
A nation will arise from one end of the world (Korea) against the wicked Romi (xtian nation; USA) and will war against them for 3 months. Other nations will join the war and will fall into their hands (the nation from end of the world), till all Edom will unite against this nation. Then HKB”H will ‘arise’ against them, as it says, “???? ???? ???? ????” A gigantic massacre in the land of Edom (USA/Europe). ???? ?”? ?? ?”?:???? ??? ?? ?????? ???? ?? ???? ?????, ???? ?? ???? ??? ?????, ???????? ??? ????? ?????? ???????, ?? ???????? ?? ??? ???? ??? ??? ????? ????, ????? ???? ????? ???? ??? ??????, ??? ??? ????? (????? ?? ?) ?? ??? ????”? ????? ???? ???? ???? ???? ???’.
- (Prophet Ovadia’s prophecy, zs’kl)
Because of Edom’s arrogance it will eventually suffer humiliation, as Hashem will humble Edom. Eventually Edom’s enemies will deceive her, plunder her and rob her. It will be trapped into going to war, which it will lose.
- Edom’s land will become desolate, because she opposed Jacob. Edom mistreats its brother nation, Israel.
- Due to Edom’s sins its ultimate punishment will be retribution. Edom will be repaid measure for measure for tormenting Israel.
- Finally the Jewish nation will be redeemed. Israel’s exiles will return and its’ future borders will be restored. Hashem’s Kingdom will be established forever.
- Tzaddik Nistar Message to American Jews
“Although things change in Shamayim, the decree to leave the diaspora by Rosh Chodesh Sivan 5769 (May 24, 2009) has not been changed!”

Hitpallel and kavanah will help you acheive this i believe, what ever teshuva is. I just happen to know, first thing in the morning i try to recite my own version, for the LORD Almight knows my hearts, so he takes my piece for me, and applies it where ever they fit. It doesnt stop at Modeh Ani, for the true way is His Word, so, His Word commands i see Him in all things, so i try the best i can. |

You are right Nelly. Shifra's teshuva didn't happen immediately.
But 1--- she persisted every morning formonths.
2---she recognized she wasn't able to express real gratitude
to her Creator until after the accident happened.
Only then did she find the KEY, " joyful gratitude"
Only then was her teshuva achieved, found in record time ---Instantly. |

I read the Bible and Prophets regularly and feel that I am developing a deep appreciation
for G-d. I am trying to pray as much as possible besides studying the holy text. Perhaps the combination will bring me to a greater place of connection.

To achieve teshuva in record time, look at the letter from Shifa , who lives in
Yerushalayim. Note that the second step after expressing gratitude, is to
access the Ani , the "I" inner core of ones being. This is the key for the
one to begin the teshuva process. |

It's well known that how you wake up affects the rest of the day. Kabbalah / Jewish practice has a short recitation that is to be said when first waking, that is intended to put a person on the right track in the morning. It's at the beginning of almost every siddur.
Rabbi Nilton Bonder, in his "Kabbalah of Envy," says [paraphrasing] that all negative emotions, despair, anger, hurt, envy - can be 'sweetened with the nectar of gratitude.' It is true that when in facing one of these negative states, if we are able to find some grain or particle of our adversary that we can feel grateful about, the negative emotions subside.
Many of us have had days when we open our eyes and feel like a boulder has been dropped on us, and the day goes downhill from there. We need an antidote.
So the day begins with "I am grateful." Grateful to who?
Aggadic tales recount great Tzaddikim who spent hours unable to get out of bed, lost in the question: "Who am I-" and "Who am I grateful to-" and in regard to this question, it's not about finding "the answer." It about finding meaningful moments.
"Kochma" translated as "wisdom," can be defined as "The power of the question." "Ma" means "what," and "koach" means "power." [like in Ana B'Koach]. So "kochma" can be said to mean "the power in being in a state of not knowing, and being open to knowledge."
As Morpheus says [in The Matrix]: "It's the question that drives us."

I am enclosing a note from Shifra who lives in Jerusalem. She stated
"In utilizing the Modeh tefilla, I knew that one must begin with the first word of the Modeh, actualizing a sense of joyous gratitude and thankfulness, and then advancing to the “Ani (I)”, the inner core of one’s being, and progressing to “l’fnecha” coming into His Presence, the Holy One, our Creator. I was really stymied, for several months I remained stuck at the first step, square one, like a racehorse never leaving the starting gate. Somehow I was unable to feel and express real gratitude, but I persisted, each and every morning, immediately upon awakening. One Friday morning after another zilch, I drove my car to Machane Yehuda market to buy some fruits and vegetables. I arrived very early and was able to find a parking space at the curb right by the market. I partly opened my door to check before stepping out. Then all of a sudden it happened. Without any warning, a large black car sped by within inches of my car and completely ripped off my partly opened door. I was really shook up, but thankfully I was without a scratch. I couldn’t care less about my car door, which ended up a few yards up the road. A small crowd came over to see if I was hurt, but I assured them that I was physically O.K. The next morning I awoke before dawn and began to feel an extra sense of gratitude for being alive and not 6-foot under the ground at our family plot on Har Hamenuchat cemetery. I realized that my natural life should have been over. I couldn’t understand why I was deserving of this miracle and knew something special had happened. This brought an overflowing well of tears of joy and an immense feeling of gratefulness into my being. Then it happened, call it a revelation or what, but I was in, into a new dimension of consciousness. Know that all is not peaches and cream now. Many pitfalls and barriers arise which I cannot always avoid or overcome. I am like at the end of a bungee cord, tremendous ups and downs. However the path back is always readily available for me as I now have gained the proper insights into true teshuva (return).”

Reb Elazar Kenig explained this is in connection with "Modeh Ani," which one utters immediately upon awakening: "One should say ‘Modeh Ani’ every morning b'simchah, with joy, knowing that whatever one experiences in the course of the day is set up by Divine Providence to bring him to the ultimate goal, which is called the 'World to Come.' This idea is also implied by the ‘Elokai neshamah’ prayer that one recites soon afterward: ‘My God, the soul that You have placed within me is pure. You created it… and You are destined to remove it from me, and to return it to me in time to come (le‘atid lavo).’ Thus, this prayer itself is a reminder of the World to Come. There, everything attains shleimut − nothing is lacking, everything is good."
* * *
Rebbe Nachman once said: "At the beginning of every day, I surrender my every movement to God, as well as those of my children and all those who depend on me, beseeching that all of my actions be in keeping with God's will; and this is very good. Thus, I have no worries as to whether or not things go right, because I am completely dependent upon God. If He has something else in mind, that is what I, too, desire, since I have already asked that I only perform His will" (Sichot ha-Ran 2; ibid. 238, end).
Tikkun Chatzot
Rebbe Nachman greatly stressed the importance of reciting Tikkun Chatzot. He ruled that Chatzot begins six hours (sixty-minute hours, not sha'ot zemaniyot) after nightfall (tzet ha-kokhavim), and lasts for two hours (Likkutei Moharan I, 149; ibid. II, 67, 101; Sichot ha-Ran 301; cf. Magen Avraham, Orach Chaim 1:4, citing the Zohar, Vayakhel; ibid. 233:1; Machatzit ha-Shekel on Magen Avraham, ad loc.; Rabbi Chaim Vital, Pri Eitz Chaim, Sha'ar Tikkun Chatzot, 4; Mishnat Chassidim, Masechtat Chatzot, 1:1; Rabbi Nosson Hanover, Sha'arei Tzion, Sha'ar 1, citing Eitz Chaim, Drush 6, Drushei ha-Laylah; Siddur ARI Kol Yaakov, 4a; Tzava'at ha-Rivash 16, concerning the Baal Shem Tov; Siddur ARI Rav Shabsai, 5a; Siddur ARI Rav Asher, 9a; similarly Bekhor Shor, Berakhot, 3a; Teshuvot Chatam Sofer, Orach Chaim, no. 199; et al.).
* * *
Rabbi Shmuel Moshe Kramer pointed out that many seforim say that this is the time lechatchila, but bedi’eved it can still be said until alot ha-shachar, sunrise. This might explain how Rebbe Nachman could tell his follower, Reb Dov, who suffered from headaches as a result of breaking his sleep, that his “personal” chatzot was 3:00 a.m. Reb Gedaliah wrote in a letter that chatzot is unrelated to sleeping, and if one is still awake at that time, he should recite Tikkun Chatzot (Heard from Rabbi Dovid Shapiro).
* * *
Reb Noson explains: The first half of the night corresponds to questions that emanate from the Chalal ha-Panui (Vacant Space), and therefore cannot be rectified with da’at, but only with emunah. Since sleep regenerates emunah, we should sleep during those hours. The second half of the night, from chatzot and on, corresponds to those questions that emanate from the shevirah, and therefore can be rectified with da’at. Therefore, during these hours we engage in Tikkun Chatzot and learning Torah (Likkutei Halakhot, Hashkomat ha-Boker 3:4, based on Likkutei Moharan I, 62).

The formula is simple.
Every morning upon awakening, feel the joy of another day of life.
Know that our Creator has given one another day of life in spite
of previous misdeeds, in spite of the difficult situations one may
find oneself in.
If one is expressing thisprayer of gratitude from deep within oneslf,
with all one's heart & soul, then one can be easily flooded with an
intese emotion of joy that one may even be brought to a point of tears.

Most Hebrew prayers are expressed in the plural and are especially effective when said in communal groups.
A major exception is the Modeh Ani , which puts you (the individual) as the Key element.
Unlike most other prayers that incude petitions, the Modeh Ani is entirely an expression of gratitude , without any petitions or requests. |

Leah’s thanks were something very unique. .When Leah gave birth to her 4th son, her heart was truly overflowing with gratitude saying:
“This time let me gratefully praise Yod.Kei.Vov.Kei.” The commentators tell us that she had been given more than her “rightful share “, and now was the major matriarch of the Twelve Tribes (it was prophetically known at that time that 12 tribes would be born from Yaacov’s four wives).
However in reality, Leah knew, felt and now expressed the fact that she truly had no“rightful share”, as her original destiny was for her to marry Esav. Her marriage, her children and everything she received was a gift over and above anything she was entitled to or deserving of, and for this chesed she could never repay HaKodesh Baruch Hu
